Synchonising OSS and Network Resources
Scheduling bandwidth and resources of a broadcasting network is only possible when the booking systems have a real-time view of the underlying network utilisation. Many factors can result in network and OSS getting out of synch. Our software is capable of polling the network equipment, detecting bandwidth utilisation at each network link, then working out the optimum capability for the OSS to allocate to customer services.
